Creative Dance Lab is a contemporary dance project where dancers explore movement through workshops, research, and shared practice, leading to the creation of a collective performance.
What We Offer
Led by local professionals, Studio Lokal includes free or low-cost workshops in:
1. Workshops Series
January – July 2026
Ten movement-based workshops open to beginners, youth, emerging, and professional dancers from Luxembourg and the Greater Region. These sessions explore contemporary dance, improvisation, and collective research.
2. Open Call for Artists
June – July 2026
Open call for dancers interested in joining the creation of an original performance. Participants discovered during the sessions are invited to apply.
3. Artistic Selection
August - September 2026
Four dancers are selected—with the guidance and expertise of Trois C-L to take part in the creation process and develop the final performance.
4. Creation & Rehearsals
September – November 2026
An intensive rehearsal period where the selected dancers collaborate with professional mentors to co-create a new contemporary dance piece.
5. Final Performances
December 2026 and Beyond
The project culminates with a premiere at Trois C-L, followed by additional performances across Luxembourg, sharing the creative research with wider audiences.
